One of the best things about being a wedding planner and running a wedding blog is having the opportunity to share the work of super talented people who I get to call colleagues + friends. Today’s gorgeous wedding, captured right here in the Willamette Valley by Gaby of Gabriela Ines Photography, is the perfect example.
Gaby and I first worked together on a lovely peach + gold styled shoot a couple of summers ago that was featured on Le Magnifique. I had a blast working with Gaby, she is such a sweetheart and she’s so talented at what she does. I always love seeing her photos pop up on my news feed, and I was super excited when she submitted Joey and Brinnan’s wedding to me!
Joey and Brinnan were married at the Northern Lights Christmas Tree Farm in Pleasant Hill, Oregon on a perfect August day. Their wedding was filled with colorful flowers, lots of pretty light, and some incredible pink and gold cakes by Soft Peaks Cakery (and of course lots of love!).
LOVE this shot of the groomsmen repping their Oregon Duck socks!
I can’t get over all of those colorful flowers adorning the ceremony arbor… so lovely!
Those cakes I was talking about? Yea… they were definitely show stoppers! Shelly with Soft Peaks Cakery did an incredible job. I have worked with Shelly a couple of times and not only do her cakes look gorgeous, but they are soo tasty as well.
I almost wouldn’t have wanted to cut in to those cakes because they looked so beautiful!
A big thank you to Gaby for sharing this gorgeous wedding with us. Be sure to check out her blog to see more of her work!
Wedding Professionals who contributed to this beautiful day:
On these days when the weather drops below thirty degrees, it’s really nice to start the day with a cheery sunshine-filled wedding and remember that in some parts of the world, the sun is still shining. I know for me the weather definitely affects my mood and attitude and I am almost always happier when it’s sunny outside. So today I am pretending that I am a guest at this lovely California wedding. Won’t you join me?
Samantha and Derrill created their dream wedding with the help of family and friends. Samantha’s aunt offered up her picturesque private estate as the backdrop for their big day, and friends created the floral arrangements and even baked the wedding cake… as their photographer, Becca Rillo said, “You couldn’t tell unless you knew!” That’s for sure. Everything about this wedding is picture-perfect and Becca Rillo Photography captured all of the magic.
The pops of coral weave so perfectly throughout the details, don’t you think!? From the bridesmaids dresses, to the napkins, to the flowers… it’s perfection.
I don’t think I will ever get tired of the s’mores bar… I mean who doesn’t love s’mores? And even though I’ve seen it done in countless weddings, I still have yet to attend a wedding with a s’mores bar. So yea… (I’m talking to you, engaged friends!) ;)
The ceremony altar makes a perfect backdrop for the sweetheart table. I am all about reusing details from the ceremony to the reception!
I hope you enjoyed this ray of sunshine on this dreary day, wherever you may be… or maybe you have great weather today!? That’s awesome too. A big thank you to Becca Rillo Photography for sharing this gorgeous wedding with us. Make sure to check out her blog to see more of her work!

One of the things I am looking forward to now that I have the blog going again is creating and sharing inspiration boards and color palettes based off of weddings that I am currently planning.
To start off, this cranberry + sea glass color palette is the vision of one of my lovely couples V & L who will be getting hitched this summer in Bandon, Oregon. Bandon is the cranberry capital of the world, so to go along with their beachy sea glass colors, they decided to add in pops of cranberry. Of course I had to grab the ring shot photo from the recent cranberry harvest engagement session I posted, it’s just too perfect!
I love these colors, I know they are definitely not your “traditional” color palette but I think they are so pretty and unique together. What do you think?

Have a great Thursday!
The soft colors, delicate details, and stunning bridal party are just a few of the reasons why I’m smitten with this wedding. Ashton and Jacob put together a truly flawless day, and they were lucky enough to have Anne Brookshire Photography there to capture every charming detail and sweet moment. When Ashton was planning her wedding, she described the feel she was going for as “laid-back elegance…. and contrasting textures like wood and mercury glass. Open and airy. Friendly and inviting.” I think she definitely achieved that vision!
After the heartfelt ceremony at Highland Baptist Church, guests hopped on a bus and headed over to The Pavilion at Carleen Bright Arboretum in Woodway, Texas for a fun-filled evening of dinner and dancing.
Enjoy the beautiful images, and be sure to check out Anne’s blog to see more of her work!
Thank you to Anne Brookshire Photography for sharing this lovely wedding with us!
