One of the most daunting tasks for us was picking out our wedding colors. There are so many options, and everywhere we looked for ideas, there were gorgeous featured weddings with all different colors which didn’t exactly help us narrow it down!! We finally decided to stop looking at other weddings (and Pinterest!) for ideas, go to our venue and see what colors are already incorporated there naturally and go from there.
Since we are getting married at a barn, there are a lot of browns and neutral colors, so we decided to go with that theme, incorporating burlap, twine, wood accents, and other neutral colors. We also decided to add in some soft colors– pastel blue, light aqua, and blush pink. After we decided on the colors, I went back to my Pinterest board and found that a lot of the ideas that I had loved already featured those soft colors and neutral accents; I just hadn’t noticed!
You may notice that gold is also in a lot of my inspiration boards…that kind of got added in after I looked through all of my inspiration and realized that there was a lot of gold sparkles in the ideas I was in love with. But come on, I grew up showing quarter horses, and anyone who has seen us show knows us quarter horse girls take our sparkles seriously!!
Take my flower girls dresses from Chasing Fireflies for example:

Or these sparkly bottles that I posted before that I want to try to make:

I also find this table quite adorable…but is there such thing as too much sparkle?

Even my dress (which I’m debating sneak peeking soon) is a gorgeous sparkling Sarah Seven original!!
Here are some of my color inspiration boards…let me know what you guys think!
