Happy Wednesday!
Today’s gorgeous vineyard wedding comes to us from Matthias of Matthias Photography. Jessica and Tom were married at Trentadue Winery in Healdsburg, California on a beautiful August day. Their wedding was a classy black tie affair with a picturesque outdoor ceremony and an elegant indoor reception. Here are all the wedding day details from the bride herself!
From the Bride:
We immediately knew that we wanted an outdoor wedding, filled with beautiful landscapes, greenery and flowers. Tom and I knew that having all of our friends and family at our wedding was incredibly important to us. Since we both grew up in the bay area, we wanted to choose a venue that would offer us a beautiful getaway experience, but also be close enough that everyone would be able to attend the wedding. We have always loved Healdsburg, because you get the wine country experience with a more relaxing environment than Napa. We also love the quaint downtown of Healdsburg, with all the restaurants, wine tasting rooms and shops.
We fell in love with Trentadue Winery right away. The winery is filled with beautiful gardens and vineyards and has a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. The winery itself is absolutely breathtaking and the reception hall they have built (Sala del Leone Vineyard Pavilion) is gorgeous with its Tuscan tiles and olive trees. What we loved the most though was what happened after the sun went down…every inch of the property lights up with twinkle lights on the trees and the outdoor garden arbors. It gives an incredibly romantic feel, which is exactly what we wanted.

At first, deciding colors or themes for our wedding was difficult. At the end, we realized that simple elegance would be perfect, since the winery has so much natural beauty. We decided we wanted to have a black tie event, so to make the wedding more elegant, we chose all white flowers with gold and bronze accents.

We chose to have low gold candelabras on the tables and votive accents, to enhance the romantic elegant feel that we were dreaming of. We chose gold and bronze frames to display the seating arrangements and table numbers, which I had painted. I also hand painted bride & groom and other signs in ivory and gold to add some personal detail to the wedding.

Looking back, I would not change one detail of our wedding. The most memorable moments for us is seeing each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle. It fulfilled every dream we had of that day. Another memorable moment for me was seeing the reception hall for the first time. It is amazing seeing your design and creation come to life. I chose every detail in that room and it was absolutely everything I wanted it to be…absolutely breathtaking. And, of course, having everyone you love in one place to celebrate your love to someone is the best feeling in the world!
