I am thrilled to share this gorgeous wedding with you today by Kgoodphoto! Although Shelly & Kevin woke up to find dark clouds and rain on their wedding day, they were ready to take it on and were extremely positive despite the bad weather. “It didn’t even phase them,” said Kelsey of Kgoodphoto.
Here is a bit more from Kelsey about Shelly & Kevin’s big day: “The ceremony was held at the groom’s grandparent’s place – a very quirky little cottage. Luckily, someone had anticipated the rain, and large tents were erected in the backyard. The remaining guests showed up with a brilliant array of umbrellas (which made for some unique photography). Ironically, Kevin and Shelly were the only ones (aside from the minister, Bryn and I) without shelter. Poor Shelly was shivering, but as her goosebumps grew so did her smile. These kids were having the time of their life. The rain may have even made it more magical.”
I love it! Some of my favorite weddings have been on rainy days, and there are so many unique photo opportunities to be taken advantage of when the rain comes around. Click here to see more lovely photos and to check out the rest of Kelsey’s work!
I absolutely love the bridesmaids dresses! Such a fun color & style.
Aren’t these umbrella shots amazing? So bright & colorful and wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for the rain!
Congratulations Shelly & Kevin! And a huge thank you to Kelsey for sharing this lovely wedding with me! I look forward to seeing more of your work. :)
